Reconhecimento de Habilitação Estrangeira
RECOGNISING FOREIGN DRIVER’S LICENSE
CONDUTOR ESTRANGEIRO HABILITADO EM OUTRO PAÍS
Documentação necessária:
– Cópia do documento de Identidade;
– RNE ou Extrato do RNE, ambos fornecidos pela Polícia Federal, autenticada em tabelionato ou protocolo de identificação de refúgio;
– Cópia do CPF, autenticada em tabelionato;
– Cópia do documento de habilitação estrangeira, com data de validade em vigor,autenticada em tabelionato;
– Original da tradução oficial do documento de habilitação estrangeira, se não for país de língua portuguesa, feita por tradutor público juramentado no Brasil, devidamente registrada no Serviço de Registro de Títulos e Documentos.A tradução pública juramentada poderá ser obtida junto a tradutor registrado na Junta Comercial do Estado, nos Consulados ou Embaixadas;
– Fotocópia do comprovante de residência atualizado no RS.
Observações:
Caso o documento de habilitação não especifique os tipos de veículos para os quais o condutor está habilitado a conduzir, o mesmo deverá anexar documento expedido pelo Governo do país de origem (Consulado/ Embaixada/ Órgão de Trânsito) com tal especificação.

FOREIGN CONDUCTOR ENABLED IN ANOTHER COUNTRY
Documentation Required (originals and copies):
– National Driver’s License or PGU and Identification Document
– Proof of residence: Water, electricity, telephone (last month) in RS (State of Rio Grande do Sul);
– Copy of the Identity document;
– RNE or RNE Extract, both provided by the Federal Police, authenticated in tabelionate or refuge identification protocol;
– Copy of the foreign qualification document, with validity date in force, authenticated in tabelionate;
– Original of the official translation of the foreign qualification document, if it is not a Portuguese-speaking country, made by a public sworn translator in Brazil, duly registered in the Service of Registration of Titles and Documents. The sworn public translation can be obtained from a translator registered in the State Commercial Board, in the Consulates or Embassies.
Rate
International POI Permit Expedition: R$ 59,29
Validity: the same as the Driver´s License.
Delivery time: five business days.
Observation:
If the qualification document does not specify the types of vehicles for which the driver is entitled to drive, he/she must attach a document issued by the Government of the country of origin (Consulate / Embassy / Traffic Authority) with such specification.
